PRESENT CONTINUOUS TENSE IDENTIFICATION

वाक्य के अंत में रहा है, रही, है, रहे है ,आदि शव्द आते है PRESENT CONTINUOUS TENSE कहलाता है \

USE OF PRESENT CONTINUOUS TENSE 

  प्रजेंट  CONTINUOUS TENSE का प्रयोग 

 

Use – 1- We are used present continuous tense with actions happening at the moment of speaking

हम present continuous tense का प्रयोग बोलते समय होने वाली क्रियाओ के साथ करते है | 

 

Example – I am reading a book

मैं किताव पढ़ रहा हूँ |

 

Use – 2 – We are used present continuous tense with actions happening in the general present (even if not right now)

हम सामान्य वर्तमान में होने वाली क्रियाओ के साथ वर्तमान सतत काल का प्रयोग करते हैं (भले ही अभी नहीं )

 

Example – He is writing a book these days

वह इन दिनों एक किताब पढ़ रहा है |

 

Use – 3 – We are used present continuous tense with temporary situations or states

हम अस्थायी स्थितियों या अवस्थाओ के साथ वर्तमान काल का प्रयोग करते हैं | 

 

Examples – We are staying at a hotel for a week

हम एक सप्ताह के लिए एक होटल में ठहरे हैं |

 

Use – 4 – We are used present continuous tense with changing situations or trends

हम बदलती परिस्थितयो व प्रवर्तियों के साथ वर्तमान काल का प्रयोग करते हैं |

 

Example – The price of rice is increasing

चावल की कीमत बढ़ रही है |

 

Use – 5 – We are used present continuous tense with repeated temporary events

हम बार बार होने वाली अस्थायी घटनाओ के साथ वर्तमान सतत काल का प्रयोग करते हैं

 

Example – I am not drinking much coffee these days

मैं इन दिनों ज्यादा काँफ़ी नहीं पी रहा हूँ \

 

Use – 6 – We are used present continuous tense with future arrangements or plans हम भविष्य की व्यवस्थाओ या योजनाओ के साथ वर्तमान सतत काल का प्रयोग करते हैं

 

Example – she is flying to London next week

वह अगले सप्ताह  लंदन जा रही है |

 

Use – We are used present continuous tense with annoying or irritating repeated actions (using words like always)

 

Example – you are always complaining about something 

 

 DO NOT USE PRESENT CONTINUOUS TENSE WITH FOLLOWING

  प्रजेंट  CONTINUOUS TENSE का प्रयोग FOLLOWING के साथ नहीं होता है 

1 – permanent actions – for ongoing situations that are permanent use the simple present 

 

Example – I am living in America (incorrect)

                    I live in America (correct)

 

2 – Stative verbs – verbs that describe states rather than actions such like want/know/need/understand and have (it means possession) are not typically used present continuous tense

1 – Amit and Rahul are playing the guitar

अमित और राहुल गिटार बजा रहे हैं |

2 – Amit and Rahul are playing the guitar

अमित और राहुल गिटार नहीं बजा रहे हैं | 

3 – Are Amit and Rahul playing the guitar?

क्या अमित और राहुल गिटार बजा रहे हैं?

4 – Are Amit and Rahul not playing the guitar?
